Adamawa State polytechnic

Adamawa State Polytechnic Yola, was established in 1991 by taking over the College of Preliminary Studies (CPS) Yola and the Staff Development Institute (SDI) Numan. All the programs hitherto run by the two institutions were maintained.
On establishment, the Polytechnic introduced the following National Diploma (ND) programs:

1. Computer Science
2. Statistics
3. Accountancy
4. Business Studies
5. Secretarial Studies

Also started were Preliminary National Diploma in Science and Technology and Business Studies.
Preliminary studies in Science and Technology and ND Computer Science and Statistics have been fully accredited.

3. Diploma (Ordinary)
