ABC (Associated Bus Company PLC) Nigeria was started on the 13th of February 1993 dealing in road passenger transport. It started as an offshoot of Rapido Ventures Limited in Owerri. ABC transport company, Nigeria is established with the intention of running a modern in Nigeria with international standards. It is a diversified Company in terms of ownership and investments.

The company went through a successful initial public offer in September 2006, thereby converting the company to a public limited liability company, with over 18,000 shareholders and listing. She employs over 1,000 permanent and non-permanent staff drawn from various tribes and tongues, and recruited with the highest consideration of merit, qualification and experience.
