JOB DESCRIPTION
• Provide day to day on-site supervision of drilling operations and prepare reports to the Drilling Operations Superintendent
• Serve as the primary contact with the rig contractor and third party personnel at the rig site to ensure that operations are performed safely and cost-effectively in accordance with the approved well program
• Logistical planning and coordination of personnel, equipment. supplies and services to ensure that twenty four (24) hour operations are maintained
• Responsible for well control, real time drilling optimization, casing tallies, cementing calculations, and completion tallies and space out
• Organise and order necessary services and equipment to conduct drilling, completion, workover, and testing operations
• Responsible for enforcement of approved Safety, Health, Environment and Security procedures to manage operational risks and prevent harm to personnel. environment and equipment
• Ensure that third party equipment is adequately and properly maintained
• Ensure compliance with all government and other appropriate regulations: including education of all rig personnel
on safety and related issues
• Ensure that well control, marine safety and other drills are held on a regular basis per company guidelines
• Ensure that accurate and adequate reports and records are kept regarding operations, equipment and evaluation

Please note that this position entails working offshore on rotation basis for the entire career.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Offshore Construction Site Representative
The responsibilities of Construction Site Representative Position include but are not limited to the following:

Carry out all construction and fabrication supervision / monitoring activities required for the successful delivery of the Contracts assigned.
Comply with Company procedures and reporting requirements.
Implement Company HSE policies and Contract HSE requirement.
Participate in Job Hazard Analyses and Attend safety toolbox meetings on a regular basis with contractors’ work teams.
Assist in constructability reviews and the planning and scheduling of construction jobs.
Close Liaison with contractors and their sub-contractors, ensuring all permits to work are in place.
Monitor the overall progress of the contractors against schedule, providingreporting on same to line management, highlighting the potential for slippage and propose remedial actions and signing contractor daily reports.
Ensure Projects are completed and handed over on schedule.
Review Contractor’s quality plan with Company appointed 3rd party inspector, ensure compliance with the agreed quality plan
Prepare project close out and “lessons learnt” reports.
Implement Company HSE Plans, conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance
Review construction contractors’ work procedures; assess contractors’ personnel and equipment for suitability for the work.
Liaise with others and supervise materials identification and co-ordination of supply to work sites, ensure adequate inspection and testing is carried out, ensure as-built drawings are produced by contractors where they are contractually obliged to prepare same
Ensure Contractors have viable schedules for their work, recognizing interfaces with other ongoing COMPANY activities.
Ensure that contractors maintain adequate records for all inspection and testing carried out.
Participate, with contractors’ staff and COMPANY Operations staff, in all pre- commissioning activities.
Control COMPANY supplied material issues to contractors, ensuring that any surplus is accounted for.
Maintain adequate records relating to events surrounding the work, which may give rise to contractors claiming for a cost increase against contract. Contribute to project close out reports as applicable

REQUIREMENTS: Offshore Construction Site Representative
Construction Site Representative will have extensive experience in offshore facilities construction work and offshore installation of platforms and pipeline laying as well as working on facilities expansions where simultaneous production and construction operations is required.
A good understanding of the relevant codes and standards for welding work and testing requirements for same is a prerequisite.
A reasonable understanding of E & I construction and testing works.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, for dealing with a broad spectrum of cultural and organisational styles, as well as being able to fit in as a team player.
Fit and fully mobile, so as to maintain the supervision at the various locations where activities related to the work will be carried out.
A self starter, able to plan and work his own way forwards at locations remote from COMPANY project engineering and engineering management staff.
Proven experience of supervising and coordinating the activities of a team of a multi-discipline construction supervision team.
Good communication and team building skills at all levels – able to lead and gain the respect of contractor and 3rd parties.
Must be resourceful with the ability to improvise / prioritise when confronted with obstacles without loosing focus and attention to detail.
Must be able to exercise relevant construction / installation judgement ensuring success of the assigned projects.
Proven track record in managing multicultural situations.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Drilling Planning Engineer
The responsibilities of Drilling Engineer (Semi-sub) position include, but are not limited to the following:
Drilling Engineer will perform well and completion planning in accordance with the Well Delivery Process.
Provide planning schedules for all drilling programs.
Track schedules and monitor implementation to schedule.
Provide initial well timelines for planning purposes, drilling time curves, and initial cost estimates. Review with drilling superintendent and drilling manager.
Provide proper technical and commercial input to tender documents for services and products.
Evaluate tenders both technically and commercially with appropriate recommendations.
Provide detailed Scope of Work for drilling services.
Carry out contracts management.
Acquire planning data from geology, reservoir engineering or geophysics as necessary.
Carry out offset well data analysis.
Design drilling/completion and work-over programs
Recommend means of avoiding drilling problems such as how to ensure well bore stability, tackling lost circulation and stuck pipe.
Work with various service vendors to ensure plans are achievable.
Review with engineer on DIMS the provision of End of Well reports.
Drilling Engineer will provide engineering support/advise to the rig on program implementation. Check and sign job tickets (not invoices) from service contractors.

BS degree in Engineering (minimum)
Member, Society of Petroleum Engineers. Member IADC. Attended industry courses in well engineering, well operations management and project management.
Good technical knowledge of well planning and well operations. Initiative to proffer solutions to technical problems.
Sound knowledge of IADC/API guidelines for well operations.
Holder of IWCF well control certification and Offshore Survival certificate.

The responsibilities of Night Drilling Supervisor (Semi-sub) position include but are not limited to the following:
The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for the execution of drilling, activities, maintaining maximum HSE and operational efficiency, at maximum value in terms of cost versus benefits on the day shift.
He/She is responsible for implementation of all the company’s policies, procedures and guidelines on drilling operations, safety and environmental protection.
Supervises the drilling contractor and service personnel to ensure all work performed conforms to safety, quality and highest value requirements and in accordance with the well program.
Drilling Supervisor will ensure that the drilling operation is conducted in the most cost effective manner.
Coordinates drilling activities with the Day Drilling Superisor.

REQUIREMENTS: Night Drilling Supervisor
Drilling Supervisor will have minimum 15 years experience within the Oil & Gas industry of which 5 year in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of well site supervision, IADC/API and holder of up to date IWCF well control certificate.
Must have worked on Semi-sub/deepwater drilling operations at the Operator side in Supervisor role.
Experience working in West Africa or preferably in Nigerian  waters.

PIPELINE ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION: Pipeline Engineer
The responsibilities of Senior Pipeline Engineer position include but are not limited to the following:

To act as a focal point/technical authority for pipeline engineering questions throughout the engineering design, construction and installation phases of Company’s pipeline projects, most of which are offshore.
To provide pipeline engineering input to other disciplines to assure that design outputs are consistent.
To act as Company authority for the review of the pipeline aspects of Design Bases, design drawings, specifications, installation procedures, etc.
To act as required as the Company representative (pipelines) to ensure that design work by contractors meets Company standards and relevant industry codes
To monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions to avoid design deficiencies and installation delays.
To assist Company resident and/or project engineers with the pipeline engineering aspects of Facilities design.
To assist construction and commissioning teams with field questions encountered during installation (e.g. as related to pipe laying, risers, tie-ins, hydrotesting, welding, etc.)
To initiate and coordinate tasks needed for project execution including surveys, permitting or government reviews, material specification, installation procedures, testing, etc.
To participate in HAZOP’s and other key design reviews.
To assist in the development Nigerian  pipeline engineers.
Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:

Zero LTIs
On time delivery of work-scope
Maintain up to date and accurate data relating to seabed surveys, pipeline routings, etc.

REQUIREMENTS: Pipeline Engineer
Minimum twenty (20) years relevant experience with an oil industry design and fabrication contractor.
Must have worked as a pipeline engineer/senior pipeline engineer for an Operator, and have been involved in both onshore and offshore projects.
Must be used to working in a multi-discipline environment
Must have worked in an expatriate situation for at least five (5) years.
Good understanding of project management controls and procedures.
Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of consistency and accuracy.
Solid working knowledge of oil and gas industry pipeline engineering codes and standards with emphasis on API standards
Have thorough knowledge of the pipelining aspects of the design of onshore and offshore oil production facilities
Have the ability to utilise common software for analysis of pipeline design, installation and operating issues.
To provide input to Front End/Conceptual Engineering studies with respect to pipeline design, installation and operating issues.
Provide input to Integrity Management and Planned Maintenance planning
To be the custodian of the company database for pipeline data as it pertains to company assets
Sound understanding of HSES management systems and the application thereof, particularly with respect to design integrity and safety.
Ability to manage interfaces both internally and externally with contractors
Apt reporting skills with the ability to write well structured and easily understood reports
Able to prepare and deliver effectively presentations for information dissemination both internally to management and externally to 3rd parties
Fluent spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to deal with a broad spectrum of cultural and organisational styles
Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Project, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint).
