In continuation of Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL) efforts to provide opportunities for developing careers in the petroleum industry, we offer Scholarships to outstanding Nigerian graduates who are currently pursuing post-graduate studies (Masters Degree) in the underlisted disciplines in Nigeria Universities:
- Geosciences
- Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil/Structure, Electrical/Electronics, Sub-Sea and Marine)
Essential Requirements:
1. Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class upper division in any of the above listed disciplines.
2. Must have admission for 2008/2009 for the required course of study in a Nigeria university (MSc. or M.Eng. only)
The EEPNL scholarship award applies to a fixed tuition, books, accommodation & living expenses for the duration of the selected course of study.

Dear Sir,
I write to request for special consideration for financial support or loan on my MSc in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) at Middlesex University in United Kingdom. I am a Nigerian.
It is my career plan to be an expert and trainer in OSH. This will provide the environment required for me to contribute to improve safework and health conditions of workers in industries and established institutions in Nigeria.
This MSc study will enable me to learn more and widen my knowledge on safety matters in the dynamics of the global challenges. It will also enable me to train to be able to apply safety skills in essential areas of need, enhance my career prospect and use my knowledge to save lives, property and the environment.
As part of my effort to improve on my career, I am presently undergoing internship training at International Labour Organisation in Geneva, Switzerland. Being born from a less privilege family I was able to support this through loan which I have paid back. With this new admission, the university offered me a Merit Award of £1400 leaving my tuition to a tune of £8700. It will be appreciated if I could be exceptionally considered for a loan to commence my studies.
I plan to pay this back as soon as I start work following the programme.
