The Institute of Management and Technology(IMT), Enugu came into existence under the then East Central State of Nigeria Edict No 10 of 1973 promulgated by the administrator of East central State – Ajie Ukpabi Asika.

Prior to the establishment of the great IMT, there existed up-till 1967 the College of Technology which offered courses in Engineering and Laboratory Technology leading to the award of Ordinary Diploma, the Institute of Administration which provided short in-service training of various grades, the Co-operative College which offered a certificate course in Co-operative Studies to Co-operative inspectors from the ministry.

NOTE: Applicants are advised to read the following Instructions CAREFULLY before continuing:

1. Pay cash using eTranzact through any of the DESIGNATED Banks (FCMB, UBA, OCEANIC etc) the sum of N5000.00 (Five thousand naira only). You will be given a teller containing a Confirmation No and Receipt No that will be used to conclude your payment on the IMT portal.

2. Fill the application form, ensuring that you provide accurate data at all times. You must fill all fields that are marked with this symbol: *

3. You will be required to fill an email address in the application form. You will use this email address to continue your application if you did not complete the application the first time due to power failure or internet disruption. It may also be used to contact you or send information to you for support purpose.

4. Please note that you can instantly open an email address free of charge if you don’t have any. Ask a friend or the café attendant for assistance if you encounter any problem doing this.

5. In addition to your personal information and application information, you will be required to provide your SSCE/WASC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB result as well as previous educational history.

6. You are advised to select only COMPATIBLE programmes of study in your First and Second Choice fields.

7. You will be required to upload a coloured passport photograph of NOT MORE THAN 20kb in size (1×1inch/300×300 pixels)

8. Ensure to print out your Payment Receipt as well as a copy of the Application Form after submitting and keep them safe.

9. Full Time ND candidates will be required to take a POST JAMB Screening Test. To view the exam subject combination, click here.

10. Note that prohibited items during the Post JAMB Screening Test include: Calculators, Mobile Phones & Organizers

11. EXAM NUMBER is to be used for POST JAMB Screening Test. This number can be found on your printed Application Form.

12. Each POST JAMB Screening Test Candidate is required to come with a copy of the Application Form print-out for the Exam. So keep it safe till then.
