The Woodlands Restaurant at Protea Hotel Oakwood Park, offers a great meal and can seat up to 100 guests, if you feel like having a pre-dinner drink or sundowners the Cocktail Bar and Pool Terrace will be open daily from 09h00 until 22h00. The Hotel also offers conference and banqueting facilities in a choice of seven venues and can seat up to 600 delegates at a time. The equipment available to you is an overhead projector, a DVD player, television, video machine, screen and a flip chart. If there is anything else you would need the hotel staff will be able to assist you.
You can relax at the lovely swimming pool where you can enjoy a cocktail or two as well at the Pool Terrace. The area has a couple of interesting places to visit such as seeing the first double storey building in the country or visiting the National Museum with its important relics such as the traditional Benin Bronzes and the replica of the Restac ’77 symbol, or you could visit the Didi Museum, National Theater for those of you who enjoy the theater. The Tarkwa Bay Beach is great for long strolls or for a day at the beach where you can enjoy the sun and the ocean. Directions from Airport:
• From South – on exiting the airport, link Apapa Oshodi Expressway to connect to the Third Mainland Bridge
• Descend the bridge to access connection to Ikoyi via Kingsway Road, linking the Falomo Bridge
• Enter Victoria Island through Akin Adesola Street connecting Bar Beach at the end of this street
• Turn left towards ’1004′ Housing Complex
• Pass Mobil Head Office, go straight until Chevron Texaco Head Office, then turn back towards Victoria Island and the hotel is situated on the right.
